A BRIGHT TOMORROW

IF you want a better tomorrow, You must make plans today! Not tomorrow.

You know those old sayings…
“Don’t put off tomorrow what you can do today”
“The Definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results”

SO what are you doing, actual steps of action not just day dreaming about it.

Look ahead, focus on today and tomorrow, not yesterday.
Yesterday is past and no amount of regrets will change a thing. Make things right or just move on because it doesn’t matter what you do someone won’t forgive you. Stop letting them put you in jail and trying to make you pay.
If you spend all your time in the past, you can’t move forward. You will just be miserable instead of finding your happiness.

What will make you happy? Make a list. Then break it into A, B, C list. Now on the A list, what is #1, 2 and 3.
What is your A list long term goal/dream? What is your short term goal/dream? Now set a time line to your Long term and short term goals/dream.

The Difference between a Dream and a Plan … is a TIME LINE !

Set aside time each day to work on it, even if it is 10 min. a day. Don’t be surprised if it turns into an hour!
Break down your long term goal/dream into shorter term goals.
Set a date for your long term goal. “I want to be done by October” But have your first draft by August.

Fear is the Enemy! Don’t let Fear stop you. Conquer Fear, Conquer self discipline, Conquer whatever your weak areas are. If your disorganized, don’t let it overwhelm you.
Pick one area each day to work on it for 30 min. or until it’s done if it is a small mess. You CAN DO IT!

Always be Pushing forward. Refuse to let whatever get in your way or slow you down.
We have time for what we really want. Or We MAKE time for what is important to us.

What is important to you? Yes your family and job are important but you can make time for your dream.
You can make time maybe an hour a day or whatever you can work into your day. Maybe it is every other day.
The thing is don’t let the week go by without having worked on your goal/dream at least a few days a week.

If you work on it only a few days a week, set those days on your calendar. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday morning, 8-9 am after the kids are off to school or 8-9 pm after your home from work and kids are in bed.
What time of the day works for you?

What is standing in your way? Normally it is not the outside things, it is our own doubt, lack of discipline, fighting depression, Low self esteem, etc.
The best way to turn that around is to move on, one step at a time. One small victory at a time.

When you feel like you can’t do it, turn on some uplifting music that makes you feel encouraged or inspired.
Take a walk and get some fresh air and exercise. Exercise raises your endorphins and makes you feel better. Getting out of the house into fresh air and sunshine lifts my spirits. Try working at a coffee shop unless your easily distracted.

Think outside the box.
